Case overview
The goal of this project was to develop a machine learning tool that can detect faces in images or video streams and classify whether the individuals are wearing masks or not. The system aims to contribute to public health and safety measures, such as monitoring compliance with mask-wearing regulations in public spaces.

The Results
This is an example of how Artificial Intelligence can be used for safety purposes. Real time monitoring and alerting allows to improve the probability of identifying if staff is wearing masks, if safety standards are complied with and, in general, to detect critical situations.
